Description

"Plants vs. Zombies HD 2836" is a high-definition remaster of EA/PopCap Games' classic tower defense game "Plants vs. Zombies," titled "Plants vs. Zombies: Remastered." It will be officially released on October 23, 2025, available on multiple platforms including PC (supporting EA App, Epic Games, and Steam), Nintendo Switch 2 (supporting shared play), PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox Series consoles. The PC price in mainland China is 98 yuan, and pre-orders will include a retro Pea Shooter skin. The game supports eight language options, including Simplified Chinese. "Plants vs. Zombies: Remastered" retains the core gameplay of the original while adding several new content features. Players can experience local two-player cooperative and competitive (PVP) modes, as well as two new challenge mechanisms: "Goodbye" and "Overcast Mode," corresponding to high-difficulty permanent death gameplay and resource-limited environments. The game includes new reward levels, secret content, and high-definition remakes of classic mini-games such as Wall-nut Bowling. The official also added an "Art Gallery" feature, which collects some concept art to showcase the game's development process and evolution of its artistic style.
