Description
"Uri: The Miaoxi Story" is a puzzle game that tells a fable about responsibility, growth, and self-discovery through its unique interface interaction. In the game, players take on the role of Prince Uri, who is leaving the palace for the first time. By manipulating functional buttons in the interface (such as pause and sound toggle), these buttons are transformed into magical symbolic inscriptions within the game world (for example, turning the pause button into the power to stop time, or the exit button into a tool to open hidden doors), thus solving environmental puzzles and guiding Uri forward. This design cleverly metaphorically illustrates the transformation between "tools" and "abilities," implying how individuals can convert external constraints and interfaces into internal strength and possibilities. During the journey, Uri moves from confusion and loneliness to gradually gaining determination, symbolizing the psychological process of each person facing sudden responsibilities. The game does not use a lot of text, but instead uses a quiet low-polygonal visual style, scenes blending Eastern and exotic elements, and music that changes with the situation (such as somber prison music or cheerful market flute sounds) to highlight this inner transformation. Finally, when the world returns to peace, Uri chooses a peaceful ending of reading, conveying that saving the world is not for glory, but rather a response to inner calling and a re-understanding of the value of ordinary life, prompting players to think deeply about mission, growth, and the tranquility of a final destination.
