Description
"Call of Duty: Eagle 1.0 (OS2.0)" 1.0 is a first-person shooter series developed by Infinity Ward, the former team behind "Medal of Honor," which was acquired by Activision (merged with Blizzard in 2007 to form Activision Blizzard) in 2003, using an improved id Tech 3 engine, initially focusing on World War II themes. As of 2024, the series has released more than 20 main titles, including "Black Ops 6" and "Modern Warfare 3" (2023 version), covering themes of World War II, the Cold War, and future wars, and has also spawned mobile games such as "Call of Duty: Strike Team" and "Call of Duty: Heroes," as well as online games like "Call of Duty Online." The series has been launched on multiple platforms through cooperation with Microsoft. In 2022, it was unlocked for sale on Steam China region, and in 2023, it signed a 10-year synchronization agreement with Nintendo, and reached a synchronization agreement with Sony. Technically, the series introduced engine upgrades, such as the 2019 "Modern Warfare" game, which achieved a rendering capacity of more than 16 million polygons per frame. Activision has continuously cracked down on cheating and infringement, suing a cheat software development team in 2025 and obtaining compensation. In 2024, "Black Ops 6" set a sales record with 50 million players participating, and the total gameplay time exceeded 2 billion hours. The new game "Call of Duty: Warzone" fifth season introduced update content such as "OPERATION: HELL RIDE." The upcoming release "Call of Duty: Black Ops 7" in 2025 adds Japanese-themed maps and wall-running operations, with its story continuing from the setting of "Black Ops 2" set in 2035, and integrating campaign, zombie mode, and multiplayer games through multi-mode progress synchronization.
