Description
SoulCalibur is a 3D weapon fighting game released in 1998, and it is the sequel to the similar fighting game "Soul Edge" released by Namco in 1995. The game has undergone revolutionary changes in many aspects while inheriting the previous game's world view, and it began to be a series. A series of works including "Soul Edge" are called the Soul Series. Because the platform was changed to the more powerful Sega DC, the graphics were greatly improved and enhanced. The DC version has detailed graphics, prominent character details, and more impressive combat. Later, it was also ported to Sony PS2 and Microsoft Xbox. The game's story mainly revolves around the battle between the evil sword (Soul Edge) and the sacred sword (Soul Calibur). NAMCO used an optical motion capture system worth over 40 million yen in SoulCalibur, which made the characters' movements and combat scenes far exceed those of the previous games. One of the motion capture artists was Li Tianyuan, a Wuying-level martial artist from Shanxi Province, China, who was also one of the martial arts consultants for the game. **** Diverse Game Modes **** - Arcade Battle The original battle mode similar to the arcade version of "SOULCALIBUR".
